Arizona Department of Transportation, Don’t Trash AZ
"Don’t Trash AZ" is a campaign aimed at reducing litter on Arizona highways. Moses Anshell developed its first logo, helping to define the look and feel used by ADOT. In addition, a web site (www.donttrashazvideo.com) was built from the ground up to not only support Don’t Trash AZ initiatives, but also to support a viral campaign in conjunction with the University of Arizona.

Supporting the Foundation for a College Campus Cleanup viral/social networking campaign, the web site allows participants to hear about the initiative, register, create their own video, and upload their video through the site. ADOT has the ability to approve the videos to ensure that it only contains appropriate content. When approved, the videos are uploaded to YouTube. The web site then pulls that video from YouTube for viewing and voting. First, second and third place winners each receive University of Arizona Bookstore gift cards.

This campaign will be supported by radio, PR and word of mouth. It is set to roll-out in time for the fall 2008 semester for University of Arizona.
